About BCH Explore
EXPLORE is an exciting program in which we Empower, eXpand and Promote Leadership Opportunities, Resources and Education in healthcare. More to the point, this initiative serves as a pathway for students from underserved communities to experience University academic life and be exposed to a number of academic programs available in the Brooks College of Health.
The ultimate goal of this program is to provide high school students – from disadvantaged and/or underrepresented ethnic or cultural backgrounds living in Northeast Florida – the opportunity to learn about careers in healthcare, promote student mental health and wellness, and increase access to higher education.
Make Your Impact
With your gift of any size, you can help students participate in fun, hands-on activities – both on campus and online – that provide awareness and exposure to the various fields of study in health and that empower them to become leaders in healthcare.
EXPLORE was launched in 2018 and has continued to expand each year thanks to the work of our faculty and staff as well as financial support from The Allstate Foundation and donors like you. We are currently partnering with both the Northeast Florida Area Health Education Center (AHEC) as well as the Duval County Public School System. Thank you for your support. Swoop!
