Building Bridges, Creating Community Scholarships
In honor of LGBTQ History Month, and Coming Out Day on Oct. 11, please join us in supporting students by giving to the Building Bridges, Creating Community Scholarship fund. Our goal is to increase scholarships available to all students involved in the LGBTQ+ community who need support.

College is a special time of growth and overcoming challenges for all students, and this can be especially true for our LGBTQ+ Ospreys. As they navigate an increasingly complex world with varying messages about their sexuality and sexual identity, our students find support and community at our on-campus LGBT Resource Center.

Please help us raise funds for scholarships at a pivotal point for many students attending UNF. As COVID-19 continues to shadow the world with uncertainty, we invite you to help bring financial stability and security to our students when they need it most through the gift of scholarship. For 14 years, the LGBT Resource Center has provided scholarships to students who are committed to create a better community by working towards equality and equity, through the Building Bridges Creating Community scholarship.
This year due to COVID-19, our in-person annual fundraiser had to be canceled, but our commitment to our students is stronger than ever and with your help, we can provide these much needed resources and financial assistance.

The Building Bridges, Creating Community Scholarship fund provides much needed financial support for students involved with the UNF LGBT Resource Center, the UNF Pride Club, and the wider LGBTQ+ community in Jacksonville.
